Our Cessna 185F is equipped with contemporary amphibious floats, tundra tires or skis depending on time of the year. In addition, Chaplin AK Air consists of professional and experienced pilots with long and intensive career in aviation. It also offers a wide-range of flexibility and amenities to afford the ultimate charter escapade! The Airplane we use at ChaplinAK Air is a 1981 Cessna 185. It has a cruising range of 6 hours and a cruise speed of 110kts on floats and 120kts on wheels or skis. It can carry 5 passengers and a pilot, but we limit our flights to 3 passengers to increase performance and safety. The plane will be configured on amphibious floats in the summer, wheels in the fall, and skis in the winter. |
